TWENTY-ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD ASK YOUR EMPLOYER DURING A JOB INTERVIEW

1. Will you give me thirty days’ vacation, with full pay and benefits for every year I work for you, starting during my first year?


2. Not including my frequent raises, will you guarantee me a pay raise every year for the first four years, and every two thereafter?

3. Will you furnish my housing for free, or give me extra money (tax-free) for rent?

4. Will you furnish my meals for free, or give me extra money (tax-free) for food?

5. Will you hire me with no experience and train me at full pay and benefits?

6. Doctor bills are high; will you provide medical care for my family and me?

7. While you’re at it, do I get free dental care as well?


8. Do I have a chance to live and work almost anywhere in the world?

9. If so, will you pay me travel expenses there and back, and give me spending money while I’m there?


10. Will you provide a $400,000.00 life insurance policy for about $22.00 a month?

11. If I want to continue my education, will you pay 100% of my tuition while I work for you?


12. Can you guarantee me I will never be affected by strikes or layoffs?


13. Are your advancements good? Will you explain how I can get promoted while working for your company?


14. If I get sick, do you allow unlimited sick leave with full pay?


15. If I need legal assistance, will your company provide it at no cost?


16. Does your company provide discounts on groceries, movies, and airfare, among other things?


17. Does your company make available recreational facilities for use by its employees?


18. If I get married, will you increase my pay to cover extra expenses?

19. Can I retire from your company after working 20 years? If so, will you provide me a monthly income for the remainder of my life after I retire?

20. I will need work clothes, so will you provide those to me, and give me money annually for their upkeep?

 

21. If I leave your company after 2-4 years, will you give me money each month to attend the College or Vo-Tech of my choice?

The fact is, your employer will probably laugh you right out of his/her office, if you really asked these question.
